A2P Amateur to Pro is a football-development service for serious youth and amateur players. This page explains the safeguards expected when a player is under 18. A2P is operated by Coach Joe in New South Wales, Australia. The business was formerly known as Living Football.
Parent or guardian involvement
A parent or legal guardian must authorise purchases, review the legal terms and supervise use by a player under 18, including the app, Coach Joe AI, lead magnets and assessments. The parent or guardian must provide accurate authority and contact information and should remain involved in decisions about training, footage, AI conversations and personal information.
The parent or legal guardian who pays, registers, consents or permits access is the responsible account holder. To the extent permitted by law, that adult accepts the terms for the minor, controls the account and payment method, ensures the minor follows the rules, reviews important output, and is responsible for misuse or unauthorised material the adult permits or fails to address after becoming aware of it. This does not remove A2P duties or legal rights that cannot be excluded.
Safe training
- Use an age-appropriate activity, safe surface, suitable footwear and equipment, sufficient space, hydration and weather precautions.
- Provide suitable adult supervision, especially for younger players, outdoor locations, weights, unfamiliar drills or shared/public spaces.
- Do not train through pain, dizziness, illness, suspected concussion or injury. Seek qualified medical or allied-health advice where appropriate.
- Do not use A2P content as emergency, medical, physiotherapy, nutrition or mental-health advice.
Images, video and personal information
Only upload footage, images or information that you are authorised to share. Avoid unnecessary identifying details about children, other players, schools, clubs, locations or schedules. Obtain permission from other identifiable people or their authorised parent/guardian before sharing their material.
A2P will not intentionally use an identifiable child’s image, footage, name or story in public marketing without separate permission from an authorised parent or guardian. Service processing and private coaching use are governed by the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Communications
Parents or guardians should be included in material account, purchase, safeguarding or support communications concerning a child. A2P may pause direct engagement, request parent/guardian confirmation or restrict a feature where age, identity, authority or safety is unclear.
Coach Joe AI safety
Coach Joe AI is an automated football-development tool, not a private emergency or counselling service. A child should not use it to report an immediate danger or crisis. AI output may be wrong or may miss risk. A parent or guardian should review important advice and seek qualified human help for injury, health, mental-health, abuse, bullying, grooming or other safeguarding concerns.
Do not ask a child to enter unnecessary sensitive information, private medical records, passwords, government identifiers, payment-card details, sexual content, confidential club information or another person’s private data. A2P may use automated and human safety review, restrict a conversation or preserve and escalate evidence where reasonably necessary to protect a child or comply with law.
A2P may change the AI model or provider, or use multiple providers for generation, transcription, retrieval, moderation, analytics, monitoring or security. The Privacy Policy explains the categories of information shared and the safeguards and overseas-processing limits that apply.
Using minor data to improve A2P’s AI
A2P may use de-identified, minimised and non-sensitive examples or usage patterns to improve the safety and usefulness of its own AI coaching service only under the Privacy Policy. A responsible parent or guardian must provide any optional consent required for using a minor’s conversation content for that purpose and may opt out of future optional use.
A2P will not intentionally use a child’s direct identifiers, private medical records, sexual content, abuse or grooming reports, crisis messages, safeguarding reports, payment information, passwords or government identifiers as ordinary AI training material. Safety-related information may still be handled to protect the child, investigate a concern or comply with law.
Conduct and safeguarding concerns
Do not use A2P channels to bully, groom, exploit, threaten, sexualise or harass a child or any other person. Do not request or share sexual content or unnecessary sensitive personal information. A2P may preserve evidence, restrict access and contact a parent/guardian, platform, regulator or emergency service where reasonably necessary to address suspected harm or comply with law.
Reporting a concern
For an A2P safety or privacy concern, contact info@amateur2pro.com. If a child is in immediate danger, call emergency services on 000. For suspected abuse or neglect, contact the appropriate police or child-protection authority in your state or territory.
Legal rights
This page supports, and does not replace, applicable child-safety, privacy and consumer laws. It does not limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
